Our Story

Asayel began with a simple belief. That bakhour, done properly, deserves the same care as any fine craft. Every cone we make is shaped by hand, whether it carries one of our signature scent blends or stays true to original bakhour on its own, following methods passed down by Bait Almarshoud, a family with deep roots in this tradition. We do not chase trends or stretch into other categories. Bakhour and maamoul, made well, are enough.

Each piece is formed to burn evenly from start to finish, so the experience stays consistent whether it is your first time lighting one or your fiftieth. From the sourcing of materials to the final shaping by hand, nothing is rushed and nothing is outsourced, to keep this craft alive in a market that has largely moved past it.

بدأت أصايل من فكرة بسيطة، وهي أن البخور، إذا صُنع بعناية، يستحق نفس الاهتمام الذي تستحقه أي حرفة دقيقة. كل قطعة نصنعها مشكّلة يدوياً، سواء كانت بخلطاتنا المميزة أو بخور أصلي على طبيعته، بالطرق الموروثة عن بيت آل مرشود، عائلة ذات جذور عميقة في هذا التراث. لا نسعى وراء الترندات ولا نتوسع في فئات أخرى. البخور والمعمول، إذا صُنعا بإتقان، يكفيان وحدهما.

كل قطعة مصممة لتحترق بتساوٍ من البداية للنهاية، لتبقى التجربة ثابتة سواء كانت هذه أول مرة تجرّب فيها أو الخمسين. من اختيار المواد إلى التشكيل اليدوي النهائي، لا شيء يُستعجل ولا شيء يُفوّض لجهة خارجية، حفاظاً على هذه الحرفة في سوق تجاوزها الكثيرون.
